The 20th Anniversary of a miracle
August 25, 2009Just now, I am celebrating the 20th anniversary of a miracle.
God is so good because if not for him, this miracle would never come together.
Allow me to tell you a story about it.
A pregnant woman together with her husband rushed to hospital to give birth to their second offspring. The woman has a heart disease, which makes it hard for her to bear a child and harder to give birth. It’s that bad that it even came to the point that it’s either the mother will live, or the baby will and the husband has to choose.
The husband took the 3rd option, to let them live both, even if the doctors said that it is very impossible. They made up they’re mind. Now it’s either both the mother and the baby will live, or they will both die. He prayed hard, he made a covenant with God; that he will serve Him for the rest of his life just to let his wife and his baby live.
Several hours of pain and agony have passed, the woman can’t make it on a normal delivery. Cesarean delivery it must be and cesarean delivery it will be. The risks are high, should the mother’s heart fail, she’ll die together with the baby. The doctors are against this for they know that only a miracle will let this come about.
August 26, 2989, at Trinity General Hospital, a modern miracle took place.
Let’s call this miracle ‘birth’. And they gave this miracle the name ‘Joshua Jez’ a healthy young proof of how good God is.
Years after, the husband became a Minister, gained his Masters and Doctors degree in Ministry and started leading a community Church together with his wife, his daughter and his new offspring.
wooooooosh! *time travel*
Now, after a Score (2 decades), the proof of the miracle still exists, and you reading this entry is a proof that the it is indeed alive and kicking!
Praise God.
