The Law of Nature

October 26, 2008

Now. Yes, here in the Philippines, on the 6th day of the 5th week of the 10th month of the 8th year of the 21st century, 21st century most especially.

(Well, if you are not a Filipino or not living in a 3rd world country, I’m pretty sure that you can’t relate to the things written below. Might as well read other topics, or if you want, read this and contemplate and thank God because your not on the same country as I am)

Just for now.. Let’s think freely and open. Let no one dictate through your mind..21st century, you, in this country..

There’s this joke from my professor, a good and a real one;

What’s on the walls displayed on an upper-class-family house? Probably, paintings, or any other artistic and cozy decorative items.
What about the middle-class families? What kind of stuff(s) are on their walls used as decorations? Probably, some graduation pictures, awards, medals and diplomas. Now how about those lower-class families? What do they have on their walls aside from dirt and stain? Semi-nude pictures of girls or calendars with sexy-stars on them..

Haha!

That may be funny or not, but what does it mean? What does it solemnly entails? What does the joke illustrates? Only one thing, REALITY. Having these status classes (upper, middle and lower that is) only implies that all of us living here in our country are not living an equilateral way of life, instead we are living in a triangular way of life where there is only one point on the top. And admittedly, we induividuals of all classes strive to be on the top..

Ask someone from the upper, middle and lower class, what material things do they want to take possesion. You’ll find out that things wanted to be possesed by those on the previous class, the next class already have. And you’ll be surprised that even the upper-class individuals still want lots of things! You’ll find out or be reminded of the fact that we humans can’t be satisfied. We always want to get those higher things and we work for it hard, even if sometimes we tend to go beyond our clearance level and become a big failure ourself.

Aim high while not being a social climber.

Learn to stand on where you are, don’t go to those higher steps if you’re legs are’nt that long and strong enough to climb. Nothing is imposible to do, but be aware that failure and downfall is also not impossible.

The law is simple; Be content while you live above the level of mediocrity.

Thank God I just got another chance to take the thesis B subject this semester. Hopefully I’ll finish this one on and eventually graduate in time.

understanding

October 10, 2008

Its better for thee to save the mystery that to surender to the secret. No one is to be blamed, no human can change another humans way of life even if both of them promised to live forever. That’s just how the way it works.

Sorry, I love you..

Break that habit

October 9, 2008

I may not be the cleanest and purest person walking above this earth, but still I can think of some things worth reading or listening or rather learning.

Let me ask you a question,  do you have this habit or mannerism that you can’t seem to remove from your system. What do you feel while doing or after doing that said habbit? Are you happy? Sad? Surprised? Tired? Guilty? Or maybe some other reaction that I did not mention. What do you feel?

Next question, Im pretty sure you know the answer to this question but you’ll probably have a second thought. The question: Is the habit good?

I myself have manifested some unwell habit during the course of my lifetime, but I’ve learned which of them is right and which is not. I’m not saying all of my bad habit is broken now, the fact that im writing at 3am is an example of a bad habit of mine.

There’s just one word to describe what bad habits cause you. Consquences.

Consequences Indeed. Consequences beyond our understanding. If you feel like you’re very strong and firm enough to continue you wrong doings, think again. Consequences are not just your normal understanding of karma. The amount power and force that influenced you to do your bad habit will also be the amount of power and force to make you fall. You feel heaven while doing your thing? Consequences of that feels hell. As simple as that.

This is not education!

October 6, 2008

No more explanations about education. Here in the Philippines, if you are in a state University, expect the worst. Flawfull administrations, Budget Cut, Profs expecting a lot from their students more than they can teach. How are we going to be a competent professional if this is the kind of education that we have?

 This is me getting angry.
